Prime Day runs June 23–26 this year. Four days. If you’ve been sitting on a decision about an outdoor pizza oven — or you’ve been eyeing an accessory you keep talking yourself out of — this is the window worth paying attention to.

A few things to know before we get into specifics.

What actually goes on sale

Amazon discounts across categories during Prime Day, but the deals aren’t uniform. Big-ticket kitchen and outdoor cooking gear tends to see meaningful discounts — 15–25% on ovens in the $300–$500 range isn’t unusual. Accessories in the $20–$50 range often drop too, sometimes more aggressively than the hardware.

What doesn’t move much: highly niche items with small inventory, and anything that’s already been discounted recently. Amazon’s pricing algorithms are aware of their own history.

The other thing worth knowing: you don’t need to find a specific “Prime Day deal” page. If you’re watching a product and the price drops during June 23–26, that’s the deal. The ovens worth watching

The one we’d recommend to most people without additional context. Propane, 15 minutes to 800°F on the stone, 60–90 second cook time. It’s been in our full comparison for a reason — it has the lowest friction of any oven we’ve used. If it drops below $280, that’s a strong buy signal. It occasionally dips to $250 during major sale events.

Ninja Woodfire OO101

The outlier in the best possible way. Electric plus wood pellets, 8-in-1 functionality, real smoke flavor. Pizza in 4–7 minutes rather than 90 seconds — it won’t produce a true Neapolitan char, and we say that upfront in our full review. But if you want one outdoor appliance that smokes a pork shoulder on Saturday and fires pizzas on Sunday, nothing in this price range does both. It fluctuates between $299 and $449 depending on configuration. The lower end of that range during Prime Day is worth moving on.

Solo Stove Pi (gas)

The most forgiving oven on our list. Slightly longer cook time than the Koda, slightly more room to work on the cooking floor, build quality that feels premium in a way you notice the first time you handle it. Best for families and hosts who want a relaxed cook over a performance. Sits at the top of the under-$500 tier — a Prime Day discount here would be meaningful.

Cuisinart 3-in-1

The honest budget entry point. It gets hot enough, it makes real pizza, and it costs $100–$150 less than the alternatives. If your budget is firm or you’re not sure you’ll use an outdoor pizza oven enough to justify a $350 investment, this is a legitimate starting point. It occasionally drops under $200 during sale events, which is the price where it becomes a clear recommendation.

The accessories that are actually worth buying on sale

Pizza oven accessories are where Prime Day can quietly save you more money than the hardware. A few worth having on your radar:

Metal turning peel — Not optional. You need one to rotate your pizza inside the oven. The good ones run $30–$40. If you see a well-reviewed perforated aluminum peel drop below $25, that’s an easy purchase.

Digital kitchen scale — Dough by weight is more consistent than dough by volume. Every time. A decent scale runs $10–$20 normally, often less on Prime Day.

Dough proofing container — Not strictly necessary, but genuinely more convenient than a bowl and plastic wrap. Measurement markings, a lid that actually seals, stackable. The kind of thing that costs $15–$20 and you wonder why you waited.

Infrared thermometer — Already mentioned in our oven comparison, but worth repeating here: this $20 tool tells you your actual stone temperature, not the air temperature your oven’s display shows. The gap between those two numbers is where bad pizza comes from. Buy one now if you don’t have one.

What we’d skip

Branded “pizza night” bundles — the ones that come with a branded peel, a cutter, and a serving board with your oven’s logo on it. They’re marked up to sell. You can buy better individual versions of each item for less.

Anything marketed as a “pizza oven cover set” with multiple sizes — find the specific cover made for your oven model. Generic covers that “fit most ovens” usually don’t fit any oven well.

When to check

Prime Day starts June 23. The best deals on specific items tend to appear in the first 12–18 hours and then again in the final stretch on the 26th. The middle period sometimes sees restocks and lightning deals on accessories.
